  • Avermectin Transdermal Solution Product Description

    Main ingredient: Avermectin B1

     

    Appearance: this product is a colorless to slightly yellowish, slightly viscous, transparent liquid.

     

    Mechanism of Action: Avermectin is within the family of medicines called anthelmintics. It is derived from Streptomyces avermitilis fermented products. Avermectins work by enhancing the effects of glutamate on specific chloride channels in invertebrates, leading to paralysis and death of the parasites. Importantly, these compounds have a low affinity for mammalian channels, which contributes to their safety profile in non-target species.

     

    Function and Use: Antibiotic drugs. It is used to treat nematodes, acariasis, and parasitic insect diseases in animals.

     

    Usage and Dosage

    Pouring or wiping: One dose, 0.1ml per 1kg of body weight for cows and pigs, poured from the shoulder back along the midline of the back. Dog and rabbit, apply the inner side of their ears.

     

    Drug Interactions: When used in combination with ethazine, it may cause serious or fatal encephalopathy.

     

    Adverse Reactions: No adverse reactions have been observed when used according to the prescribed usage and dosage.

     

    Precautions

    1. Prohibited during the lactation period.

    2. Avermectin has strong toxicity and should be used with caution.It is highly toxic to shrimp, fish, and aquatic organisms. Do not allow the packaging of residual drugs to pollute water sources.

    3. It is particularly sensitive to light and can quickly oxidize and inactivate. Attention should be paid to storage and usage conditions.

     

    Storage: This medication should be stored in a dark and dry location between 15-25°C. The bottle should be sealed tightly during storage. Keep the bottle flat when not in use.

     

    Withdraw Period: Cow, sheep, pig 42 days.
