Indications
Buparvaquone is a drug for the treatment of bovine Tyler’s pyoderma, a bloodborne protozoan disease that is serious for cattle. After being transmitted to cattle by ticks, the pathogen parasitises in macrophages, lymphocytes and erythrocytes, causing clinical symptoms mainly characterised by high fever, anaemia, lethargy and swelling of lymph nodes on the body surface.
Usage and Dosage
For intramuscular injection
The general dosage is 1 ml per 20 kg body weight.
In severe cases the treatment may be repeated within 48-72 hours.
Do not administer more than 10 ml per injection site.
Side effects
Improper usage of this product may cause local edema at injection site.
Withdrawal times
For meat: 42 days.
For milk: 2 days.
